Do Not Miss The Ecstasy Of The Small Yet Evocative Bisevo Island

Bisevo is a tiny island with cultural leanings in the south Dalmatian archipelago, 5 nautical miles southwest of the Vis Island covering approximately 6 sq km. The Bisevo Island is besieged by around 26 sea caves among which Medvidina and Modra Spilja -The Blue Cave or the Blue Grotto, in the Balun cove stands out as one of the largest caves in the coast. It is also characterized by immaculately clear and clean sea. It is also known as Skuja na Zanje in the vernacular and local dialect. The cave is accessible since 1984 and it is approachable only by a boat. The only way to enter it is through diving.
